New TLC Rental Department Opens in Poznań, Poland, Highlighting Group’s Environmental Strategy

On September 7th 2018, a new TLC Rental department officially opened in Stryków, near Poznań, Poland. The ceremony began with the cutting of the ribbon by our business partners and TLC Group board members. The new department, equipped with photovoltaic installation which will be continuously upgraded to eventually provide 100% of our electricity, begins a true revolution within the TLC Group. Aligned with the company’s mission, photovoltaic panels will also be delivered to other departments as well as TLC’s production plant.

Mr Jacek Czech, a TLC Group board member, highlighted in a speech how important it is to make sure that the things we do are compliant with balanced growth doctrine:

“Being a global company, we believe it is our duty to act pro-environmental. We want to offer more benefits to clients and societies that we work with, while limiting our impact on the environment. Reducing exhaust emissions, as well as the possibility of using electricity from natural, renewable energy [sources], TLC Rental chose to use a modern and environment-friendly fleet of cars. Electric low carbon hybrid or hybrid plug-in cars are now 70% of the fleet. Our goal is to reach 100% by 2020.”

As part of the environmental-friendly strategy, we will continue to invest in charging stations for electric cars. A production plant in Gorlice, Poland and the department in Stryków are the first ones with such devices, but there are more to come in the near future.

The new department is the next natural stage in expanding TLC Rental into the Western Europe and Northern Poland markets. The location of the department, as well as its storage area, will improve our customer service and help us gain new clients in the west.

We would like to thank all the clients and business partners who came to the ceremony. We appreciate the trust you have put in us, and we consider it a great motivation for further development and sustaining this cooperation on higher level.
